Assisting our Pastor
"So bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, so that they may assist him." (Numbers 3:6)
Pastoral Council
The parish pastoral council advises the pastor on developments of pastoral priorities. The council helps the pastor to identify pastoral needs and to implement and evaluate pastoral programs. The council assists with encouraging volunteerism and participation by the parishioners in the life and ministry of the Church. It consists of at least 5 members of the parish, but not more than 10 selected by the pastor. The members serve for a 3 year period and may be named for 1 additional term; after this time, there is to be at least 1 year off the council before any member can be reappointed. The pastoral council is presided over by the pastor and serves the pastor in a consultative capacity. (PH 10.2.1.1 & 2)

"To plant a seed of awareness about life issues and to foster its growth through service among the family of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish."
Current efforts include the spiritual adoption program, a monthly rosary, Mother's and Father's Day recognitions, and help with various attempts to pass pro-life legislation. In the fall, this committee hopes to work with the youth program at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. This committee meets the 3rd Sunday of each month at 7p.m.
