Welcome to 1st Grade

Thank you for enrolling your child in faith formation activities at SEAS.  This year, in addition to class, there will be many other parish opportunities available to your child and to your entire family.  As parents, you are the primary educators of your children and we are committed to supporting you in this mission.  First grade students have a choice of attending formation on Wednesday afternoon from 5:30-6:30 p.m. or Sunday morning from  11:00 a.m. - Noon.

In order that your child is prepared for class, please be sure that they can make the sign of the cross and recite the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.  These prayers as well as others will be reinforced during class.  If you are interested in volunteering in your child’s classroom or assisting with special projects, you will need to complete the Safe Environment Training Class which is offered periodically during the year. There is no charge for the class but registration is required  Please contact the RE office to register for this class, 226-6629.

Outside of the regularly scheduled classes, dates for any additional activities will be sent home with your child, announced in the bulletin and posted on this website.

In the event of  inclement weather, class cancellation will be posted on the website as soon as the need to cancel classes is determined. Please check the website before dropping your child off for class. Please note if PR-1 is closed due to weather classes will not be held.
