Our parish is part of the Dear Soldier Project,  the purpose of which is reaching soldiers with encouragement from home through letters, cards and gift packages.  The donation item guidelines are very specific.  If you are making a non-cash donation, please read the list of acceptable donations below.

List of Allowable Items to be Sent to Soldiers Overseas:

Personal Items (must be travel size):  Tissues, Facial Cleaner, Shampoo, Conditioner, Conditioning Shampoo, Body Lotion, Soaps/Body Wash, Wipes, Liquid Hand Sanitizer, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Tooth Brush, Dental Floss, Mouthwash, Suncreen, Disposable Razor, Lip Balm, Playing Cards, Magazines, Puzzle Pages

Food (must be in individually sealed packets):  Nuts, Candy, Yogurt Fruit Dots, Honey Maid Cinnamon Crisps, Granola Bars, Crystal Light Drink Mix Fruit Snacks, Raisins, Cookies, Breakfast Bar, Trail Mix/Snack Mix, Mints, Pretzels, Cheese Crackers w/peanut butter, Crackers w/cheddar cheese, Instant Oatmeal, Gum, Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Beef Jerky, Ramen

Please note: individual candy pieces cannot have twisted ends, but must be sealed so that they are tamper proof
